Curriculum is presented to learners in Learning Paths that sequence, scaffold and provide insights into the learner’s progress along the way. Best practices are embedded and the learner has access to a variety of learning experiences bringing equity to the learning process.

Heatmap to Learner Performance

Online courses traditionally have insight only to completion and time on task and produce letter grades which do not accurately represent granular skill development. Skillways identifies actionable data related to skill development and outcome achievement.  

Skillways delivers a heatmap of learner progress that any registered user can tap into.  The heatmap (shown below) shows the progress of an individual or a consolidated view of a cohort.

Ease Skillways is IMS Global Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) compliant which allows seamless integration into any LTI compliant LMS or application, and it allows you to syndicate content developed with Skillways to as many other LMS as you’d like from a single source that you maintain. All content created in Skillways is re-skinnable and can be delivered securely via LTI links provided to your users.

Historically content has been held captive and underutilized in the LMS. This platform enables you to license content under a white label and distribute to other delivery platforms while maintaining exclusive control of the IP.

Support for your Accreditation Process 

Courses built using Skillways support planning and mapping accreditation requirements and establish solid documentation of this work. Skillways provides a structure for the incremental mapping, building and measurement of learner’s skills It also allows curriculums to be presented to learners in learning paths that sequence, scaffold and provide insights into the learner’s progress. Each learning path can be linked to the outcomes mapping for accreditation, illuminating the learners progress towards achieving those outcomes in real time.
